The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to stall the release of Rajinikanth-starrer 'Kaala'. Justices AK Goel and Ashok Bhushan didn't entertain the plea of Petitioner KS Rajashekaran seeking an injuction order against 'Kaala' release. 'You seek injuction order against the film for which everybody has been waiting to watch in theaters,' commented Justices.

Earlier, KS Rajashekaran moved Madras High Court to stall 'Kaala' release but the next hearing was posted on June 16th (9 days after the release) to his shock. Then, He moved the Apex Court complaining against copyrights violation by the Makers. He accuses 'Kaala' Makers of using his concepts be it story, scenes and songs. Whereas, The Supreme Court didn't entertain his appeal.

'Kaala' is facing a ban in Karnataka already over Cauvery Water issue. High tension prevailed over the screening of Rajinikanth-starrer across Karnataka. Karnataka High Court directed Kumaraswamy Government to provide security at the theaters screening 'Kaala'.
