Record Collections But Minimal Profits!

Megastar Chiranjeevi's dream project 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' released on October 2nd to packed crowds. The film got a good response from the critics and audience alike. With the film nearing the end of its theatrical run, the final collections are coming out.

The film achieved a rare foot in the Nizam area. The film collected 32.10 crores in Nizam area. It is only the third film to cross the 30 crore mark after 'Baahubali 1' and 'Baahubali 2' in this region. This is a huge sum and it shows the craze of Chiranjeevi and power of the film's content.

Despite achieving this mark, the buyers are left with a mere profit of 2 crores. UV Creations bought the Nizam rights for 30 crores and released it with the help of Dil Raju. This explains how selling films for higher rates affect buyers. Imagine the amount of loss a distributor has to face if the same film fails at the box-office. Hope this scenario changes in the coming days.
