Actress Tamannah Bhatia always said that Sridevi is her biggest inspiration and she wants to be like her someday.
The young actress is now being felicitated with Sridevi Award at Zee Apsara Awards for her contribution to Cinema and as a woman achiever.
The actress is thrilled to receive the award and in a public statement she shared her happiness.
She said, "Sridevi was someone I looked upto during my formative years in the industry. It is such a privilege to be presented an award named after her. I started out really young in the industry just like her and I understand that it takes decades to build a legacy."
The actress has played Sridevi's role in Himmatwala from her 1983 blockbuster in the remake in 2013.
Right now, Tamannah is busy with films in Tamil and Telugu. Her high profile releases in Telugu include, Queen once again and Naa Nuvve.
