Tammareddy withdraws MAGALLU Remark

Update: 2016-07-28 12:32 GMT
Veteran Director-cum-Producer Tammareddy Bharadwaj speak out his heart no matter what the consequences might be. Sometime ago, He made the sensational statement 'Telugu Chitraparisrama Lo Magallu Leru'. Later, The Filmmaker asked people not to see his statement as a male-dominant mindset or a sexist remark. He clarified his intention was only to say almost all the films have been in a fixed format and nobody have the guts touch new concepts.

After attending the premiere of 'Pellichoopulu', Tammareddy said: 'I think the time has come for Me to withdraw my statement. Some of the films made in the last 5-6 years have been bringing manliness. 'Astha Chemma' has given a hope that our filmmakers are thinking differently and people are welcoming it. Krish proved 'Vedam' a strong story could be narrated with Stars. 'Eega' showed even a housefly could become a Hero. Ishq, Prema Katha Chitram, Manam, Express Raja, Run Raja Run and Uyyala Jampala have been quite different from one another. And now, 'Pellichoopulu' emerged as a path-breaking film'.

What's that aspect in 'Pellichoopulu' which moved Tammareddy Bharadwaj so much? Will this July 29th Release hits the bull's eye?
