Taapsee Pannu will be essaying the role of a refugee in her next film Ghazi opposite Rana Daggubati. The actress shared a picture on Twitter from her upcoming film and she introduced herself as 'Aami Ananya Balochi', which means 'I am Ananya Balochi'. She was seen using a landline phone used in olden days when telephones werenât common.
Tapsee said the role is to be very different from what she has played on screen so far and she has done hardwork to prepare for the role. The actress will be seen opposite actor Rana Daggubati, who has reportedly been cast as a naval officer.
"Ghazi" is based on the PNS Ghazi submarine that sank mysteriously off the Vizag coast in the Bay of Bengal. Directed by debutant Sankalp, the film will be partially based on his own book "Blue Fish".
