Director Tarun Bhaskar of 'Pelli Choopulu' fame invited the wrath of NTR Fans with his remarks on IIFA Awards. He went on to say that NTR and his film 'Janatha Garage' bagged most of the awards at IIFA because the organizers really care for TRPs.
After the backlash, Tarun Bhaskar took to Facebook to pacify Nandamuri Fans. 'I'm aware it has hurt his fans all over & I'm extremely apologetic about it. My father, and uncles have worked with Senior NTR garu during his regime and have been followers of his values ever since. I have huge respect for Jr NTR and, in fact, he was one of the first person to openly give a positive statement about Pelli Choopulu,' he wrote, apart from expressing his wish to work with NTR after reaching such a level.
Still, NTR Fans weren't satisfied. They edited the personal information about Tarun Bhaskar on Wikipedia to spread the message that the filmmaker is no more alive. Fans even demanded the Director to hold a press meet to tender an apology. Succumbing to the pressure, Tarun Bhaskar promised to issue an apology in the presence of media persons. He also claims to be having no intention to hurt anyone.
