Teja was supposed to direct NTR Biopic. He, however, decided to leave the project within few days after the shoot began for reasons best known to him. Balakrishna & Co., informed that Teja decided to leave the project as he wasn't able to handle the high expectations.
For the first time ever, Teja responded on 'NTR Kathanayakudu' which performed poorly at the Box Office. When his reaction was sought on the prestigious flick, The Filmmaker replied: 'Due to my busy schedule, I haven't watched the film till date. Or else, I would have certainly watched it'.
On the criticism of lack of drama in 'NTR Kathanayakudu', Teja made the the shocking comment: 'Its a Director's Call. A Director should have brain for that!'.
