The other day, media reports are abuzz that the theatres across Telangana will be reopened from Sunday that too with full occupancy. The media outlets even dubbed Telangana as the first state to permit cent percent occupancy in theatres post the deadly second wave.
As a sudden twist in theatres reopening development, the representatives of the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce spoke to the media and gave a clarity on this.
The representatives said it is true that they met Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and briefed about the difficulties and issues faced by the theatre owners and the industry.
Though he reacted positively and assured that he will look into the issues, no decision was taken on reopening of the theatres. The representatives urged everyone to not believe the news of theatres reopening.
