Legendary Telugu comedian Brahmanandam underwent a heart bypass surgery on Tuesday. He was rushed to the Asian Heart Institute (AHI) in Mumbai as he suffered difficulty in breathing and underwent several tests.
He underwent a bypass surgery by experienced heart surgeon Ramakanta Panda on Monday. Sources claim that his condition became stable now but is still under observation. The 62-year-old veteran actor was accompanied by his sons Raja Gautam and Siddharth to the hospital for the surgery. The fans and family members are praying for his healthy recovery. Brahmanandam has acted in over 1000 films and also holds the Guinness World Record for that.
Last year, Brahmanandam launched the 'Great Telugu Laughter Challenge' TV show, and also became a judge marking his debut in TV. He was recently seen essaying Relangi's role in 'NTR Kathanayakudu' movie.
