Censor Troubles for NOTA

Update: 2018-10-02 04:19 GMT
Vijay Devarakonda's NOTA is creating a lot of buzz in the filmnagar right now. The film's censor was completed successfully in Tamilnadu, and the board has awarded the film with U certificate. Vijay was shocked to learn the same as he was expecting U/A or A. On a funny note, he also expressed doubt about the censor evaluation for the Telugu version, and as expected, his film is now facing the troubles from the board.

The censor board has asked the makers to mute a lot of dialogues and even suggested to cut a couple of scenes. Even though Vijay was prepared for this, he did not expect that the board would be very much particular about every single scene. With the intention of convincing them, Vijay stepped in to explain the censor officials about the director's vision and the purpose of every scene in the film. He patiently answered to every objection that the board members raised.

Despite his best efforts, the board members did not change their decision. The members are very particular about a particular swear word in the movie, and they do not want to be at the blaming end considering the elections being round the corner. Having left with no other option, the makers have agreed to mute the word and finally settled to U/A certification. The makers have to re-edit the film and submit it again to the board for acquiring the final certificate.

Directed by Anand Shankar, the film NOTA is produced by Gnanvel Raja under Studio Green production house. Mehreen Kaur is the heroine. The film is releasing on 5th of this month.
