Hyderabad Rains: Tollywood Celebs come forward to donate

Hyderabad suffered a severe loss due to the heavy rains. Several properties were damaged and over 50 people have lost their lives due to the unprecedented floods. The rescue operations in several parts of the city are still underway.

Following this, TRS supremo, Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao appealed to the people and big shots to donate to the CM relief fund for the relief operations.

Telugu Film Industry(TFI) came forward to make donations. Celebrities from the industry including heroes, directors, and producers made contributions for the relief fund.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Superstar Mahesh Babu announced a contribution of Rs 1 cr each. Jr NTR and King Nagarjuna announced Rs 50 lakh.

Haarika & Hassine Creations and director Trivikram Srinivas have announced Rs 10 Lakh donation, while Harish Shankar and Anil Ravipudi announced Rs 5 lakh donations. The announcements are expected to increase.

Nandamuri Balakrishna announced Rs 1.5 cr towards the relief operations and through his Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital he has sent food parcels for 1,000 people. Young Hero Vijay Devarakonda donated Rs 10 lakh to CMRF.

Recently, Tamil Nadu and Delhi have come forward to help Telangana. While Tamil Nadu CM announced Rs 10 Cr as help, Delhi Chief Minister announced the help of Rs 15 crore today.
