Usually, K Raghavendra Rao will sport a beard whenever he shoots for a movie. Want to known why he has been doing so?
K Raghavendra Rao: 'Since my second feature film 'Jyothi' (1976), I began growing beard while shooting for a movie. I would get rid of it only after the completion of entire shoot. It has become a sentiment for me. As 'Om Namo Venkatesaya' goes on floors on June 25th, I will shed my beard only after the shoot ends'.
Earlier, Nagarjuna and Raghavendra Rao teamed up for four devotional films such as Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shiridi Sai. 'Om Namo Venkatesaya' is based on Lord Balaji's devotee Hathiram Baba's journey. Initially, Nag was hesitant to do one more film on Lord Venkateswara Swamy after a film like 'Annamayya'. But, KRR convinced him with the subject of Hathiram Baba. They even visited Tirumala before starting the shooting. Can the duo score fourth hit in a row?
