The Three Big Khans Face A Stressful Year!

Update: 2018-12-27 06:45 GMT
Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are the biggest stars of Indian Cinema and Hindi Cinema. Their market value has been consistently growing over past 25 years.

They used to give a hit that many would envy each and every year. If one failed to do so another used to come up with a big grosser.

They started their domination in 90's taking the baton from Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Sunny Deol. They went on to rule for two decades with occasional setbacks.

Shahrukh has been leading the pack from 95, when he scored Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Salman remained close second. Aamir never really challenged them until Ghajini.

For 15 years, SRK has been undisputed King at box office and from Ghajini, Aamir took over the responsibility of giving highest grossers of that year whenever he had a hit.

Interestingly, Salman remained the more massy actor and second in lead to both when they used to give much bigger hits. This is the first tIme when all three had releases and all three failed.

Before this whenever their films didn't end up on top of the year grossers, either they did not release that year or a phenomenon like Baahubali struck the Nation.

This year, Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor is the highest grosser with Padmavat coming second. Aamir Khan after a decade gave a huge flop, Thugs of Hindosthan is his biggest disaster after Mangal Pandey and Mela.

Salman Khan continued to deliver another bad film on Eid with Race 3. It is the most trolled one too. Shah Rukh Khan whose major hit came in 2013, Chennai Express, continued with experiments and Zero also ended up, a flop.
