While speaking about sharing screen space with his daughter, he said that "Shweta was very comfortable in front of the camera." He felt that his family has four actors.. Jaya, Abhishek, Aishwarya and him but the true actress in his family is Shweta. He added that her daughter won't admit it but she is a good actress.
Amitabh said, "She does fantastic mimicry. Whenever we go out and if some incident happens, she will mimic everybody to the point." He said that Shweta is not much interested in taking up acting as a career. He said "Shweta is a natural writer. I kept reading her columns. I'm proud that she has a natural flair for writing and it is hereditary from my father." It is known that Amitabh Bachchan' father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a renowned poet in Hindi.
Shweta recently penned a fiction book titled 'Paradise Towers'. The story of the book revolves around the people who are living in the building.
