The Tollywood blockbuster of this Sankranthi, 'Ala Vaikunta Puram Lo' aka 'AVPL' is all set to be remade in Bollywood. The latest news we hear is the Bollywood remake rights were sold for a fancy price. Guess who would produce the film in Bollywood? Sources say that it is Ekta Kapoor and Allu Aravind, both are going to produce the film and this ambitious remake would be directed by Rohit Dawan who earlier directed 'Desi Boyz' and 'Dishoom'. The makers have zeroed in the happening youngster Karthik Aaryan to reprise the role of Allu Arjun.
Ala Vaikunta Puram Lo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde is directed by Trivikram. The film went on to become the Industry hit standing tall next to 'Bahubali2' collections in Tollywood film history. Earlier there were reports that the producer Allu Aravind is desperate to make the film in Bollywood by himself and thus joined hands with Ekta Kapoor.
