Tholi Prema

Varun Tej did not have any market but a big family support until Tholi Prema came along after his biggest hit Fidaa got mostly credited to Sai Pallavi, his female lead. Venky Atluri made on a tight budget this Tholi Prema but it made careers of Raashi Khanna, Varun Tej and re-invented Thaman's career too. Movie collected a share little above Rs. 22 crores which gave an understanding over Varun Tej's popularity and market.

Awe!

This is the best out-of-box films that Telugu movies have made in recent years. The movie directed by Prashanth Verma made many look at him with awe and the low budget made it a safe bet for producer Nani.

Chalo

Venky Kudumula with a budget under Rs. 4.5 crores helped Naga Shourya to make a good comeback and it is regarded a blockbuster for the market Shourya has. Rashmika Mandanna made a successful entry with the film.

Sammohanam

Sammohanam is made on a budget under Rs. 3.5 crores with Aditi Rao Hydari and Sudheer Babu as the romantic pair. Indraganti Mohan Krishna could present an old story in new format and people gave Sudheer Babu a double digit share collector at box office.

Geetha Govindam

The shocker of the year is Geetha Govindam. Movie is made under a budget of Rs. 12 crores and is valued at Rs. 15.6 crores to become a hit prior to release. It ended up collecting Rs. 100 crores above gross and a share of Rs. 65 crores plus. This is huge and made Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna stars.

Goodachari

Goodachari surprised many by proving that a spy thriller can be made with a budget of Rs. 4 crores. Movie did become a brand for Adivi Sesh, who announced second installment in 2020.

RX100

Ajay Bhuyan as a director seemed like concentrating on only making a B-grade film with promos. But the movie with its content surprised all and made Payal Rajput a star. Made under Rs. 2.5 crores budget, it became a blockbuster.

Taxiwaala

This movie was supposed to come before Geetha Govindam but got leaked out and producers had to wait for 6 months and get VFX right to release the film. Still movie budget did not go over Rs. 5.5 crores and it collected Rs. 22 crores at box office strengthening Vijay Devarakonda's image as a star.
