The film has released in a very dull season and many expected that it will show adverse affect on Day 1 collections. World cup mania and Valentines day preparations added to the worries of fans. But nothing has shown impact and a mere name of NTR brings audience to theatres. It has become the biggest opener of 2015 beating the record of Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh starrer "Gopala Gopala."
Temper collected 9.68 crores on day 1 and this is highest in NTR career and all time third highest on Day 1.Temper beats Day 1 record of Badshah which collected 9.25 crs on Day 1.
NTR having total four films in Tollywood Day 1 grossers list and it shows the crowd pulling capacity of youngitger.NTR's "Rabhasa," which hit the screens on last year 23 August, took a good opening and minted ?8.85 crore share. However, the film could not sustain its business due to average reviews from the critics and the audience.Before to that NTR's "Ramayya Vasthavayya" raked in ?8.7 crore share on the first day.
If this is the demand that NTR enjoys after two flops, what would have been his stardom had RV & Rabhasa been blockbusters? Just asking!
It remains to be seen if the film will make it to the Rs 50 crore club and become the first Rs 50 crore film for NTR.
