Nandamuri Balakrishna scored the biggest blockbuster of his career towards the end of 2021. His fantasy action entertainer 'Akhanda' got a phenomenal response in theatres and it successfully ran for more than 100 days. Boyapati's taking, Balakrishna's stellar screen presence and Thaman's outstanding background score made it an amazing theatrical experience.
After two years, 'Akhanda' is getting dubbed in Hindi and it is being released by Pen Studios. The trailer of 'Akhanda' came out in Hindi and it is a very weird feeling to listen to some of the famous dialogues in other voices. The biggest strength of Balayya is his voice, diction and authority over the language. His unique dialogue delivery is enough to make the fans go crazy.
But the dubbing given to both the lead character played by Balayya did not suit the star hero's personality at all. There is no depth in the voice and that is the biggest drawback of this trailer. While the visuals and BGM try their best to elevate the proceedings, hearing another voice for Balakrishna is quite upsetting.
With pro-right movies which explains the significance of Hindu culture working well at the box office, 'Akhanda' has a huge chance of working wonders at the Northern box office. Films like 'Kantara' and 'Karthikeya 2' are the biggest examples of that. Let us wait and see if 'Akhanda' follows the same path or not.
Pragya Jaiswal is the heroine in this movie while Srikanth played a negative role. There are many other notable actors like Poorna, Jagapathi Babu and others. The movie was screened at last year's Goa Film Festival too.
