Lady superstar Nayanthara has mastered the art of working in commercial films while still selecting interesting scripts that brings out the actress in her. She played the heroine's role in Rajnikanth's 'Annathe' this year and she was recently seen playing a lovely role in the romantic comedy film 'Kathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal' which was directed by her boyfriend Vignesh Shivan along with a challenging film like 'O2' which came out directly on Disney + Hotstar.

The star actress is currently working on a couple of noted Tamil projects and she is also a part of Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film 'Godfather' which will be coming out on 5th October. It is well known to everyone that Nayanthara works on her own terms and lays down all the rules before signing a new project. The 'Thulasi' heroine doesn't get herself involved in the promotions and demands high remuneration.

A few years back, she used to take 3 crores per film which is very high at that time. When the makers of 'Maestro' approached her, she quoted 5 crores remuneration which forced the makers to opt for Tamannaah instead. Now that she got married to Vignesh Shivan, one would expect her to reduce her remuneration but she has attained a level of craze which makes her different from the rest.

News is that she was offered a role alongside a senior hero and Nayan reportedly asked for 7 crores. Apart from that, she demanded one lakh per day for her team. On top of that, her team's flight tickets, hotel bills and other requirements should also be paid by the makers. News is that the entire cost to bring her onboard for a film is going to be 10 crores and the filmmakers in Telugu are now considering other options rather than offering her such a whopping amount of money.
