Up Close With NKR: Socio Fantasy Films Excited Me Since Childhood!

With the release date fast approaching, the team of 'Bimbisara' has upped the promotions. After getting a very good response from the trailer, the makers released two songs till date and they impressed the viewers. They are also releasing a series of small videos with the title 'Up Close With NKR'.
 
In its latest episode, we can see Nandamuri Kalyan Ram talking about his childhood and his influences growing up. He said that they were majorly influenced by their Babai's (Balakrishna's) films as he was a huge star during their young age. Speaking about 'Bimbisara', he said that socio-fantasy and historic films excited him since childhood more than love stories and other genres.
 
Kalyan Ram added that his father late Hari Krishna made them watch Sr NTR's classics which involved historic and socio-fantasy movies. He explained that today's generation loves watching Marvel movies like Iron Man, Avengers, Spiderman and others which are fantasies. A lot of fantasy movies were made in Tollywood like 'Jagadeka Veeruni Katha', 'Paatala Bhairavi', 'Bhairava Dweepam', 'Aditya 369', 'Yamadonga', 'Baahubali' and others.
 
He also wanted to make a film in this genre and it was in 2019 during the shoot of 'Mahanayakudu' when Vassistha approached him with the script. He asked everyone to stay tuned in order to know more about 'Bimbisara'.

Produced by NTR Arts banner, Samyuktha Menon and Catherine Tresa are the heroines in this film. Madhiki Vashist is the director of this project. Warina Hussain, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Srinivasa Reddy and others played key roles in this socio-fantasy film. Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer while MM Keeravani composed the music. Anil Paduri is the VFX producer while Chitrantan Bhatt took care of the songs. Tammiraju is the editor while Venkat and Ram Krishan designed the stints. Vasudev Muneppagari penned the dialogues while Sreedhar Ganta and Nimmagadda Srikanth are the script associates.
