Power Star Pawan Kalyan who was last seen in Trivikram directorial Agnyaathavaasi is making a comeback to films with Vakeel Saab, the official remake of the Bollywood social thriller film Pink.
According to the grapevine, Amazon Prime Video got the streaming rights of Power Star's film. The film is likely to be streamed on Amazon Prime from the last week of May.
The makers have announced that Vakeel Saab will hit the theaters on 9 April 2021. To see that the film collections will not get affected, the makers are said to have asked Amazon Prime to not stream the film till the film completes 50 days.
It has to be noted that, makers of Vijay starrer Master had issues with the streaming service when Master was made available on Amazon Prime three weeks after the theatrical release.
Keeping this in mind, the makers of Vakeel Saab have reportedly made an agreement with Amazon Prime to steam the film after 50 days of the release.
Coming to the satellite rights, Zee Entertainment Enterprises has bagged the rights. The film will be made available on Zee 5 app and the film will also be premiered on the channel.
Nani's MCA fame Venu Sriram is the director of the remake, while Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju bankrolled the project jointly. Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla will be seen in pivotal roles. The film also features Shruti Hassan
