Victory Venkatesh has always been the hero who managed to stay away from the image circle. Even during his peak, he did family entertainers, action films and some off-beat films too. He acted in a lot of remakes throughout his career and he is coming this July 20th with another one.
He remade Tamil super hit film 'Asuran' which was directed by Vetri Maaran. Dhanush won the national award for his performance in that film and Venkatesh has so far looked very impressive in the matured village man's attire. The trailer was well received by the audience and people are liking Venaktesh in the intense action and emotional avatar.
As it is known, 'Narappa' is going to release directly on popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday. While some of the movie lovers are excited to see a star hero's film getting released directly online, fans of Venkatesh are a bit disappointed about it. They hoped to enjoy Venky's mass action sequences in theatres but they have to now watch it on their laptops and mobile phones.
Addressing about it, Venkatesh claimed that there are some things that are not in his control. He said that he can feel the pinch of fans and they cannot be blamed for being disappointed. He then apologised for how things turned out but told that his fans have always been understanding and stated his confidence in them. Venkatesh promised that he will entertain the audience definitely in the theatres with his next film.
While the fans are happy, they are a bit confused as his next flick is going to be 'Drishyam 2'. Many thought that this film would've gone to the OTT platform as its original was also released directly on Amazon Prime Video. There is a talk that the makers already sold the rights to an online streaming service. Now with Venkatesh saying that his next film will hit the screens is confusing the fans.
Keeping it aside, Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu produced 'Narappa' jointly while Sreekanth Addala directed it. Priyamani will be seen as Venkatesh's wife in this rustic rural drama or not. Let us wait for a few more days to find out how the film is going to be on 20th July.
