Vidya Balan and her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur had no other option but to cancel their New Year celebrations in the last minute.
Just when the flight took off from Abu Dhabi, Vidya Balan complained about extreme pain in her back and soon paramedics were called on board, subsequently the couple were deplaned. The actress was taken to a clinic at the airport for medical examination and was treated for sudden rise in body temperature.
Immediately, The Celebrity Couple took a flight back to Mumbai and Vidya Balan was admitted to the Khar Induja Hospital. After conducting few tests, Doctors suspected it could be a case of Kidney stone.
The spokesperson of the actress refused to reveal the exact reason for Vidya's hospitalisation but informed she is recovering well.
