Vijay's Demands Ends Up In The Project Being Shelved!

Update: 2021-08-20 13:31 GMT
Young sensation Vijay Devarakonda got a lot of craze due to his phenomenal performance in 'Arjun Reddy'. People in both North and South India are eagerly waiting for his movies and Devarakonda is aiming to expand his market by starting a pan-Indian project with Puri Jagannadh named 'Liger'. This project is presented by Karan Johar and it is being made on a grand scale. The 'Geetha Govindham' hero is now picking up movies that appeal to the nationwide audience.

He already announced movies with 'Ninnu Kori' director Shiva Nirvana and star director Sukumar. While Sukumar's film may take a long time before going on floors, Shiva Nirvana is all set to release his 'Tuck Jagadish'. News is that Devarakonda has asked Shiva Nirvana to make a few tweaks in the script and make it universally appealing. Apparently, he even asked the producers to up the budget too.

While Shiva Nirvana decided to consider Vijay's demands and pen the script according to his pan-Indian wishes though he was hesitant earlier, Vijay's demands have reportedly gone out of hands which forced the director and producer to shelve the project. This news is yet to be confirmed officially but the insiders are quite confident about it.

Vijay Devarakonda's last two films 'Dear Comrade' and 'World Famous Lover' were disasters at the box-office and he is in need of a big hit right now. As everyone knows, Puri Jagannadh's film can either become a huge hit or an utter disaster. We need to see how 'Liger' turns out. Experts are claiming that Vijay needs to wait for the release of 'Liger' before making such pan-Indian demands on directors and producers.
