Vijay Devarakonda who scored a blockbuster with 'Geetha Govindam' is all set for his upcoming movie 'Nota'. Touted to be a political drama, Anand Shankar is helming this project.

The official trailer of the movie is released and has been receiving the thumping response from the audience. However, the movie recently landed up in a controversy. Dialogue writer Shashank Vennelakanti filed a complaint accusing the director of not giving him the credit. He claimed that the dialogues that were heard in the trailer were written by him but instead of giving him the credited director Anand Shankar used his name for the story, screenplay and the dialogues as well. He added that the producer neither paid him nor gave him the credit. He registered a complaint against the producer Gnanavel Raja to the Chennai Police Commissioner and requested him not to allow the movie release till he gets justice.

The movie unit is yet to respond on this. Mehreem Pirzada is playing the female lead in the film. The movie is going to mark the Kollywood debut of Vijay as 'Nota' is a bilingual film releasing in Telugu and Tamil languages.
