Vijay Devarakonda Goes Aggressive At Geetha Govindam Pre-Release Event

Update: 2018-08-13 04:06 GMT
Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have played the lead roles in the upcoming film Geetha Govindam that is releasing on 15th of this month. Directed by Parasuram, the movie is produced by Geetha Arts 2 banner. Bunny Vas is the producer. The makers held a pre-release event yesterday at Andhra University, in Vizag. During the event, Vijay spoke aggressively about the film's piracy.

It's a known thing that Geetha Govindam movie was kept online by a third party member, and the cops are currently emerged themselves in eliminating all the pirated links from the web. Vijay Devarakonda said that he was disturbed and hurt with the incident and told that he was not at peace.

"I feel down. All my energy got drained. Though our entire team is smiling, we are not happy inside. Our producer Bunny Vas skipped the event to work on the pirated links of the movie on the internet. We are actors, and we make movies. Instead of that, some are trying to make us sit at home to eliminate the piracy links which is completely awkward." said Vijay who added, "While we are upset with piracy of our film, some people claim that we did it for publicity. We can't stoop to that level. We did a neat movie with a lot of entertainment, and I am hoping that the audiences will get entertained largely when they watch the movie on 15th."

A team has been appointed by the film unit to coordinate with the cops for eliminating all the piracy links of the movie.
