Vijay Deverakonda Answering To ED Officials About 'Liger'!

Update: 2022-11-30 08:15 GMT
The nightmarish result of 'Liger' has affected Vijay Deverakonda a lot as his hopes of becoming a pan-Indian hero crashed badly and he faced a lot of trolling for his performance. The film was a huge disaster which left the buyers facing heavy losses. While Vijay is looking to move forward and focus on his upcoming films, 'Liger' is no mood to leave the 'Arjun Reddy' star.

It is well known that Enforcement Directorate is looking into the alleged violation of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) as there were concerns raised over the money pooled up for making this film. They have already grilled the movie's producers Puri Jagannadh and Charmmee Kaur on November 17th. After answering their questions for a couple of hours, the duo left the office.

Now, Vijay is expected to be questioned about the details regarding his remuneration, funding for this flick and payments done for other cast members including Mike Tyson, Ananya Pandey and other noted artists who worked on this film. 'Liger' was touted to be made on the budget of 125 crores and Congress leader Bakka Judson filed a complaint about the dubious ways in which the money got invested into this project.

He accused a few politicians of funding the movie as well and claimed that the investors used 'Liger' as an easy to turn black money into white. There were reports about the money arriving from foreign countries as well which is a violation of FEMA. We need to wait and see how things shape up in the coming days.
