Vijay Deverakonda Creating A Lot Of Unwanted Noise!

Update: 2022-07-25 11:31 GMT
The buzz and controversy surrounding the trailer launch event of Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' has not died down yet. During the event in Hyderabad, he made some strong comments which got traction. While some youth liked it, fans of star heroes are triggered by it. He said that the audience are giving him a lot of love despite not having any father or grandfather from the film industry.

This definitely ruffled the feathers of NTR fans, Mahesh fans, Pawan fans, Ram Charan fans, Bunny fans and other others. Right at the time when things started to cool down a bit, Vijay himself is adding fuel to it by coming up with the hashtag #AyyaThathaEvadTelvadhu. Though it was used for a funny video, this hashtag is sure to ignite the fire again.

A lot of people defended Deverakonda over the past few days claiming that he might have said it unintentionally. But the latest tweet proves this argument entirely wrong. It may be the work of his PR team who thinks that it would bring hype on 'Liger' before the release. The same kind of strategy was used during the time of 'Arjun Reddy' where Vijay trolled senior politician V Hanumanth Rao. But it could blow up his face now as he is irking the fans of star heroes.

'Liger' is a crucial film for Vijay Deverakonda. He is looking to expand his market and turn himself into a star hero with this action film. Vijay hasn't scored a single hit over the past 4 years. Both 'Dear Comrade' and 'World Famous Lovers' were disasters. If the result of 'Liger' is bad, the craze and hype around him goes down very fast which no one wants to happen.

Also, Puri Jagannadh is very consistent over the past couple of years. After 'Temper' which came out in 2015, none of his films worked out till 'Ismart Shankar' which was released in 2019. He made more than 6 films in the middle and all of them were flops. With such a track record, Vijay and Puri need all the support they can get but pushing the buttons of fans and star heroes at this time will surely affect 'Liger' if things go wrong.
