Vijay Fans Becoming Restless Over 'Liger'!

Update: 2021-09-04 07:18 GMT
It has been more than 18 months since the release of 'World Famous Lover' and there is no update on the release of Vijay Devarakonda's upcoming film 'Liger' till date. The film was supposed to release in September but the team's plans were disrupted due to the second lockdown. Both 'Liger' and Vijay Devarakonda went completely silent after the second lockdown. Barring the first look poster, there is no promotional content from Puri Jagannadh which is making Vijay's fans a bit worried.

Seems like they will be getting some relief as sources claim that the next schedule of this bilingual will be kickstarting next week. The shooting will commence in Goa and it is expected to go n for at least another month. As per reports, the entire shooting will be wrapped up after this schedule. Dashing director Puri Jagannadh and Charmee are the producers for this film and they have recently been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate regarding the drugs case.

As the questioning is complete, they are free to leave the city and this made it easy for them to start their final schedule in Goa. Let us wait and see when the new release date is going to be considering the fact that all the star heroes are occupying the festival seasons. Karan Johar will be presenting this film which will be having Ananya Pandey as the female lead. Other than 'Liger', Sukumar announced a film with Sukumar which will start once the star director wraps up his work on 'Pushpa' with Allu Arjun.

Devarakonda has been in the industry for a very long time but it was 'Evade Subramanyam' that brought him recognition. He turned into a hero with 'Pelli Choopulu' which was a super hit. He turned himself into a star with 'Arjun Reddy' and earned craze all over the country. After scoring a blockbuster with a clean romantic comedy like 'Geeta Govindam', he is aiming to go big. 'Liger' is going to be the debut film of Vijay in Hindi and we need to see if he becomes a success in the North or not.
