Vikram Mania: Fans Celebration Leave Theatre on Fire!

Update: 2022-06-08 06:43 GMT
Movies are a celebration in India and fans see their matinee idols like gods and their film releases are celebrated as carnivals and festivals. Coconuts will be broken and camphor will be lit for fans sometimes. Compared to the northern states, this culture is prevalent in southern states.

Celebrating nature made its way overseas too. When south films release overseas, NRIs celebrate the same in a big way. However, the celebrations go over the board sometimes and the theatre management has to face the heat with this.

It is known that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's recent outing Vikram is having a good run at the box office. Besides having a stellar cast like Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahad Fazil, Vikram offers high-octane action sequences, and massive elevations complemented by a racy screenplay.

Taking a cue from Hollywood films, director Lokesh Kanagaraj started his own multiverse by joining a few dots from his film Khaidi starring Karthi in the lead role. If everything goes according to plan, we might see heroes from Lokesh Kanagaraj's films coming together like Avengers. Vikram also stars talented hero Suriya as fierce Rolex, who appeared in a small cameo.

Suriya's cameo came as a surprise to one and all. His fans did not expect that Suriya would impress them in the cruel role. Unable to share their excitement, a few Suriya fans burst crackers inside the theatre establishment which led to a massive fire.

Due to the fire caused by the firecracker bursting, the screen caught fire while the movie was screened. This led to a chaotic situation at the theater. People present at the theatre ran out seeing fire all over. The theatre management swung into action and called for help. The cops were informed about this and they showed up there.

This happened in Puducherry. After seeing Suriya in the Rolex role, fans could not hold their enthusiasm and expressed the same by bursting firecrackers inside the theatre. The fire caused by the bursting had burnt the screen. The concerned police were informed of this and a case was registered. The investigation is underway and more details are awaited.
