Chiyaan Vikram has established himself as an actor one should respect in Indian Cinema. He won National Award for his performance in Pithamagan and his association with Bala has made him the star he is today.

The actor always gives his 100% for any role he accepts and he really liked the character of Arjun Reddy. The actor said it all himself.

He said, " I loved the character of Arjun Reddy so much that I would have tried to play the character by moulding into the personality to play it. Age cannot be a factor for any actor and I don't believe it is an yardstick or an obstacle."

Many producers have forced Vikram to make Dhruv, his son debut with this movie immediately, so the actor agreed to let his son, debut with Varma, the remake of Arjun Reddy in Tamil, three years before his plans.

Vikram said, " I believe it is Dhruv's destiny to be launched with such a strong character. Bala made me what I am and I trust his vision much more than anyone else. So, I asked my son if he is ready to take on such a role early. He took on the challenge and hence, I asked Bala to guide him."

He continued, " Right now, Dhruv is getting trained in Method acting course in USA. Once he returns, we will start the shoot of the film." Still, the team hasn't decided on a lead actress and the search is going on.

Bala is also busy with his latest movie, Nachiyaar, with Jyothika and GV Prakash.
