'Vikram' Sets The Record By Getting Highest Weekend Opening Viewership!
Legendary actor Kamal Hassan's latest sensation 'Vikram' has set the box office on fire. Despite having one of the most promising young talents like Lokesh Kanagaraj as the director and top heroes like Fahadh Fasil and Vijay Sethupathi playing key roles, not many thought that the film would achieve the level of success it did. This movie came out on 3rd June and blew away the audience. It ended up as the highest grosser in Kollywood and achieved blockbuster status in the Telugu states too. Kamal Hassan showcased his stature once again with this film as it earned more than 400 crores at the box office.
This gangster drama premiered on Disney + Hotstar on 8th July. Now, 'Vikram' ended up as the highest weekend opening nationwide on the OTT platform. The film was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages and it got record views in all five languages.

Apart from the star cast, the film also features Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Arjun Das and Shivani Narayanan in supporting roles. Anirudh is the music composer while Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer. Philomin Raj is the editor of this flick. Suriya played the role of Rolex in the film and he will be seen as the main villain in the next part.
