Vishwaroopam-2.. Censor Done?

Update: 2018-03-17 10:21 GMT
It has been five years since 'Vishwaroopam' released.  'Vishwaroopam-2 was supposed to be released within a year first part release.  Even though the movie was ready by 2014 itself, the delay in the post-production activities which required high expenditure delayed the release of the film.

There was no update about part-2 for nearly three years. No work related to 'Vishwaroopam-2' took place during that period.  But Kamal Haasan has taken over the film from producer Oscar Ravichandran and started post-production activities.  They have completed all the remaining work and readied the first copy. The latest reports from Tamil media reveals that censor formalities have been completed for 'Vishwaroopam-2'.  The movie was given a U/A certification by the censor officials.

Everybody knows that how Kamal struggled before the release of 'Vishwaroopam'. He encountered issues with the censor certification.  Considering the previous experiences, Kamal reportedly applied for censor much early before the release.  Kamal faced troubles with 'Vishwaroopam' because Jayalalithaa was alive at that time.  The present government is not in a position to touch Kamal film.  If they trouble Kamal Haasan it will become a huge controversy because Kamal is into politics now.

It will bring huge publicity to the film and it will also become an advantage for Kamal party as well.  That's the reason why the ruling party in Tamil Nadu appears to have maintained distance from 'Vishwaroopam-2' movie.  If everything goes well, Kamal is planning to release the film on April 13, on the occasion of Tamil new year.
