Vizag Likely To Host CSK Matches

Update: 2018-04-11 16:54 GMT
The current political atmosphere in Tamil Nadu isn't suitable for hosting IPL Matches in Chennai. Few violent incidents took place during the CSK and KKR IPL Match on Tuesday. A protester had thrown a shoe at CSK All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja & few people of Seeman's party attacked a police officer during the match.

BCCI is now seriously considering the change of venue for the Chennai Super Kings matches. Four Cities (Visakhapatnam, Trivandrum, Pune and Rajkot) were shortlisted. Interestingly, Visakha is the front-runner among all these happening cities.

Committee of Administrator (CoA) Vinod Rai informed Chennai Super Kings will have to take a final call on the venue. CSK doesn't have any home matches until April 20th. So, There is still lot of time to decide. If Centre established Cauvery Management Board by then, The situation will be back to normalcy and CSK needn't have to change the venue.

Doesn't BCCI think Special Status movement would affect IPL Matches in Vishaka any way? This is much serious issue than Cauvery Management Board!
