VV Vinayak, belongs to a politically affiliated family from Chagallu, a constituency in East Godavari district. He came to Hyderabad to find some work in Film Industry as his father dreamt about acting in films.
Slowly, he turned into a director and succeeded at that. Now, the popular director is also looking to complete another dream of his father, that is, to become a successful politician.
The director moved towards such goal in 2009 when Chiranjeevi announced Praja Rajyam Party. He did a lot of charity and development works in his village too..
Many thought he will get the seat to contest from Rajamundry or Chagallu but wasn't the case. So, is he planning to go ahead and make that dream come true on a YSRCP ticket?
He maintains a strong relationship with Kodali Nani of YSRCP and many thought in 2019, the director is willing to take the plunge. They showed his recent Inttelligent audio launch event in Rajamundry as a show of his strength and popularity. But Vinayak laughed out loud at these rumours.
He said, "Currently, I don't have enough maturity to contest in elections and become a politician. I am more inclined to make more and more movies. I never thought I will be a director one day. I became one, may be in future, I will become a politician. Right now, I don't have any plans!"
If not in 2019, the director might try it out in 2024, when Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena or YSRCP or even TDP need a person like him to contest in Chagallu.
