Vyjyanthi Allocate Earth-shattering Budget For Project K

Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone starrer, Project K is set to be mounted on a larger than life canvas. After extensive research and pre-production, the unit commenced shoot recently and a small portion of the film featuring Amitabh Bachchan was shot in the week-long schedule. Coming to the topic, Vyjyanthi Movies, who are bankrolling the project have reportedly allocated a humongous budget for the project. The sci-fi thriller will be mounted on a budget in upwards of Rs 400 crores. It will be one of the costliest projects in Indian cinema, if not the costliest.

Project K will mark the coming together of some of the top most technicians and actors in Indian cinema. A large portion of the budget has been allocated for remunerations alone. That is understandable, given the fact that some of the top billed actors in the country, namely Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan are working on the project. The technical team will be an elite one as well and that will further increase the wages bill for the producers.

Vyjyanthi Movies are fully trusting in Nag Ashwin's capabilities and also Prabhas's exquisite box office pull. They are confident that with good word of mouth, Project K can recover the majority of its investment in the opening weekend itself, given the craze Prabhas enjoys currently. So, they are willing to spend big bucks on the mega project. They will also be promoting it as the costliest project in Indian cinema which will add to the buzz.

There have been reports that Project K will be releasing in English language as well. If that turns to reality, the film will get a pan-world release. This should further strengthen the box office prospects of the Prabhas starrer. The makers are hoping for the same and they are working accordingly.

Project K will be releasing in theaters only in 2023 or later. The project will be under production for over 2 years. Nag Ashwin is determined to shoot the film on an unprecedented scale. The makers are currently erecting larger than life sets at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
