Tamil actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar became a familiar face to the Telugu audience with back-to-back brilliant performances in Ravi Teja starrer Krack and Allari Naresh starrer Naandhi.

Now the actress hit the headlines for her noble gesture to bust the hesitancy in people to take the Covid vaccines. Taking to social media, the actress shared the video, in which she tried to clear the airs on the vaccines.

In the 1.24 minute long video, Varalaxmi plays two roles, as friends. While one character is showing her hesitancy to get administered with the Covid-19 vaccine, the other character convinces her to get vaccinated.

In the video, the actress said everyone should take the vaccine dose as it is the key to beat the virus. '#GetVaccinated avoid rumours I've got mine.. Have you got yours..?? Take the vaccine Beat corona #tamil version @chennaicorp @rdc_south @BabuVijayB,' she captioned the post.

The Graeter Chennai Corporation retweeted the actress's video and urged everyone to take the vaccine dose. The civic body had also thanked the actress for posting the awareness video.
