Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana sequel Bangarraju is releasing on 14th January despite 50% occupancy restrictions and night curfew in Andhra Pradesh. Even Ticket price issue is being sidelined by the team as they feel Bangarraju can only release for Sankranti.

The sequel has Naga Chaitanya playing titular role along with Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishnan coming back to play their roles from the first film. Krithi Shetty is playing Naga Lakshmi character in the film and there are many more young ladies in important characters.

RRR and RadheShyam had to postpone and even DJ Tillu has been postponed from the festival film release line up still Bangarraju is releasing. Nagarjuna talking to media said that he feels the film can only release for Sankranti and they are confident to face all the issues.

He said, "We are trying to compete with open market today and times have changed alot. Today, Telugu film is global and we need to sustain good cinema as youngsters are exposed to global cinema on daily basis.

Bangarraju is a pure family entertainer like Soggade Chinni Nayana and it is designed to entertain Telugu audiences during the festival," concluded Nagarjuna.

Naga Chaitanya expressed his happiness for being able to get a chance to share screen with his father and that too in such a difficult role. He complimented writer-director Kalyan Krishna for believing in him.

Krithi Shetty said that she enjoyed playing Naga Lakshmi and Kalyan helped her nail the comedy timing better with slang. The team is confident and Anup Rubens music for the film became a hit.

Movie is hitting theatres on 14th January and within 30 days it is expected to release on streaming sites. But we wish the team get big blockbuster success like first film at theatres.
