What Do Distributors Think About Chiru & Balayya Competition?

Update: 2022-10-27 11:47 GMT
It is well known that Megastar Chiranjeevi's 154th film 'Waltair Veerayya' and Nandamuri Balakrishna's '107th film 'Veera Simhaa Reddy' are arriving during the same Sankranti season of 2023. The title announcements of both the movies went viral and they are produced by Mythri Movie Makers. While fans are excited about witnessing an epic clash between Chiru and Balayya, the distributors are reportedly not too keen about it.

As per reports, a few distributors met the renowned producers and discussed about the possibility of avoiding the clash. As per their view, giving good amounts of theatres for both of them in the midst of a pan-Indian film like 'Adipurush' is going to be a very tough task. The mass centers may show interest in Balayya and Chiru's films as they are more commercially appealing than 'Adipurush' but getting record collections on the first day is going to be an impossible task due to the heavy competition. Also, it will not be beneficial for the banner too as both these films are from 'Mythri Movie Makers'.

Apparently, distributors asked the producers not to release the films on the same day as it would affect their business heavily. Despite being big films, competition with one another will affect the profits of distributors and buyers as the film's producer sells it to them. With the pressure mounting from distributors, we need to see which film from the Mythri Movie Makers banner walks out of the race.
