What Next After 'V'?

Update: 2020-09-08 08:10 GMT
Natural star Nani's 'V' got released on Amazon Prime amidst a lot of hype and expectations but the film didn't live up to it. It may not be a bad film but considering the buzz around it, the film wasn't up to the mark. The film would've stayed in news for a few weeks if it got positive talk but it did not happen.

Now, the focus is shifted towards the upcoming OTT releases. We all know that the effect of 'V' will be on the next films that will get a digital release. But the question is, what is the next big release from Tollywood? If things were normal, films like 'Uppena', RED' and 'Nishabdham' would have released immediately after 'V' hit the screens in March. All these films are ready to release but were kept on hold. Since 'Uppena' is the launch of Mega hero Vaisshnav Tej, the team is waiting for the theatres to reopen.

Ram's 'RED' is also not considering the prospect of a digital release. Films like 'Nishabdham' and 'Solo Brathuke So Better' are going to have an OTT release but there is still some part of shooting left for Sai Tej's film.

But 'Nishabdham' is ready for release as per sources and the team is reportedly waiting for the right time. There is a lot of negativity over OTT release after 'V' which is why the 'Nishabdham' makers are a not in a hurry to release their film.

Apart from them, two of Keerthy Suresh's films like 'Miss India' and 'Good Luck Sakhi' are gearing up for an OTT release but there is still some shooting left as per sources.
