What Stands Best After 'Pushpa'?

Audio plays a crucial role in the success or failure of a movie. A lot of films went on to become hits just because the songs became chartbusters. A lot of people believe that songs are one of the major pulling factors for the audience. That is the reason why a lot of filmmakers spend a heavy amount of time and money on music sittings and re-recordings. A lot of big names in the industry are focusing on the audio part of the film nowadays,

If there is one film that generated a huge hype and hungama with its songs, it is 'Pushpa – The Rise'. The film's audio played a key role in its success. People who bashed the background score at the beginning were mesmerised by it now. Songs like 'Srivalli' and 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava' have become nationwide sensations. A lot of celebrities imitated the 'Srivalli' step and many cricketers did it too.

After 'Baahubali', 'Pushpa' is the only pan-Indian film to get such huge reception in terms of audio. The entire credit goes to Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad and he proved to everyone that no one gives such high-quality songs when he is in the mood. The person behind 'Baahubali' audio is definitely MM Keeravani and the music played a key role in its humongous success. 'Pushpa' is the only film whose music got that level of appreciation once again. The rest of the pan-Indian movies which came out in between these two films did not have a successful audio album.

The songs of 'Radhe Shyam' were not chartbusters and the focus has shifted to 'RRR' now. The audio brought decent hype to this movie. Most of the songs except 'Naatu Naatu' were promotional songs and there is not a lot of scope for songs in the movie. People are hoping that Devi Sri Prasad who will arrive once again by the end of this year with 'Pushpa – The Rule' will provide another banger of an album. A few pan-Indian films will be coming out in the meanwhile and it is to be seen if they have super hit songs or not.
