Young hero Sharwanad's 'Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu' came out on Friday and it bagged a mixed response. Though the first half is good with a perfect mix of comedy and emotions, the second half reminded people of soap operas with a heavy dose of sentiment. Trade experts claim that the box office fate of this film depends on the family audience and how they embrace this feel-good film.
This film was not originally written for Sharwanand. Venkatesh was the first choice for this project. Kishore Tirumala penned the script after 'Nenu Shalilaja' and the film was officially launched with the same title too. But it was shelved due to unknown reasons and it was later made with Sharwanand. As we know, Venky is the best at doing family films.
He is known for generating comedy and his expressions are hilarious. But Venkatesh has crossed that age where he could pull off his trademark 'Peelikaani Prasad' kind of roles. Also, Venky is busy with other projects at the moment. He would not suit the script of 'Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu' and looks like Venkatesh made the right decision.
Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in this film while senior female artists like Radhika Sharatkumar, Khushboo Sundar, Urvashi and others play key roles. The trailer and songs raised good expectations on this movie. Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu' is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Sujith Sarang is the cinematographer while Sreekar Prasad is the art director for this project. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for this flick which is in theatres right now.
