Update: 2022-09-14 12:09 GMT
Dulquer Salman is one of the most happening star heroes in the Malayalam film industry who enjoys great stardom in all South Indian languages. His good looks and tremendous acting skills earned him a huge fanbase. Apart from being a huge star in Kerala, he did films like 'Ok Kanmani' and 'Hey Sinamika' in Tamil and 'Mahanati' and 'Sita Ramam' in Telugu.

His handsome looks and wonderful acting in his last release 'Sita Ramam' won the praise of everyone and he became a darling for each and every film lover who watched the film. But there was a time when this top performer was criticised for his acting skills.

During the promotions of his upcoming release 'Chup' directed by R Balki, he talked about the negative reviews he got during the starting days of his career. He said, "I have often read a lot of nasty things about myself in reviews. People have even written that I should quit movies and I am not made for it. It's usually the same thing that I shouldn't be here. This is not my calling. It's really harsh."

Talking about 'Chup', he stated, "I have done different films in my career, however, this one really hits it out of the park in terms of the character and it's story. It feels like you're looking into someone's inner workings and the character I play is especially unique so it was an altogether new experience for me."

'Sita Ramam' is currently available on Prime Video and people who haven't watched the film in theatres are falling head over heels for it now. They are mighty impressed by this classic love story.
