We are in a situation now where religion has become a sensitive topic and visiting religious places also becomes a big issue. With the debate on Hinduism vs Hindutva, religion became an even more sensitive topic. Adding fuel to this, the union government is renovating and developing historic temples. The Corridor project in the temple city Kashi is among them.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi represents the constituency, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor project was inaugurated in a big way. The main idea behind starting the corridor is to make the movement of devotees between the ghats and the temple easy.
Kollywood hero Vishal got the opportunity to visit the Kashi temple. After visiting the holy shrine of Lord Shiva, the tall hero took to Twitter to share his happiness with the facilities offered there. He even tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to the tweet and said he is happy that Vishal had a wonderful experience in the temple city of Kashi. "Glad that you had a wonderful experience in Kashi," the Prime Minister replied.
The conversation between Narendra Modi and hero Vishal has caught the attention of Prakash Raj. Replying to Vishal's tweet Prakash Raj tweeted "Shot Okâ¦. Next ???". Now one wonders what made the actor-producer make such a tweet. It is a big question why Prakash Raj purposefully felt Vishal's tweet was acting.
Earlier Vishal faced IT raids along with a few other stars in Tamil Nadu. It was said that the films Vishal made questioning the union government and the politics it took attracted the IT raids. In the raids, the officers could not find any evidence against him, that's a different thing.
Post the raids such films from Tamilnadu have stopped. All of a sudden, Vishal spoke highly about Modi. Though the action hero spoke about the facilities the temple city has, this raised many eyeballs including that of Prakash Raj.
"Dear Modiji, I visited #Kasi, Had a wonderful Darshan/Pooja & touched #HolyWater of #GangaRiver. God bless U for the transformation U hav done to the #Temple by renovating & making it look even more wonderful & easy for anyone to visit #Kasi, Hats off, Salute U," Vishal tweeted.
