Mahesh Babu has been one of the few heroes, who managed to have big hits and duds with similar character. As a police officer, he did Dookudu and Aagadu. In Pokiri, till climax he isn't a police.
So, we can say that he had a big hit and big disaster with same character. Interestingly, both are by same director.
For Dookudu, Anil Ravipudi worked as writer in Srinu Vaitla team and used some of the comedy scenes for his Pataas. He did agree that he couldn't spend enough time on Aagadu script, due to his debut as director.
Now, he got a chance to direct Mahesh as per the TFI reports. He does like to show Superstar as Super Police, it seems. Will he do so? If he does, will that be bettered Aagadu or Pataas 2??
