Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback with 'Vakeel Saab' which is releasing this summer. Despite all the hype and hungama of his fans, the success of this film is very crucial for power star. We cannot deny the fact that his last three films were failures. Especially, 'Agnyathavaasi' was a disaster by epic proportions. Pawan Kalyan is in need of a big hit right now and some say that it is the reason behind choosing a remake.
As we know, 'Vakeel Saab' is a remake of the Hindi film 'Pink'. The original version has Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of a lawyer. His role was very passive, subtle and dignified. Apparently, the makers of the Telugu version made a lot of changes to the script and the main one being Pawan's character as per sources.
Grapevine suggests that the writers added a bit of mass element to his character to please his fans. They included some energy, typical PK mannerisms and a fight to satisfy the masses. Hope these inclusions work in the film's favor and do not destroy the very soul of its original.
Directed by Venu Sriram, this remake is being bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. Thaman is the music composer and the first single 'Maguvaa Maguvaa' which was released recently is getting a good response.
