Writer demands 1 cr from PK producers

Update: 2015-01-21 07:50 GMT
In a startling twist, a writer has demanded 1 crore from the producers of Amir Khan’s “PK”, after accusing them of plagiarism. Filing a petition in Delhi High Court, novelist Kapil Isapuri claimed that PK is directly copied from his 2013 published novel ‘Faristha’. He went on claiming in his petition that PK copied almost 17 scenes from his novel with just slight variations. The concept of making mockery of godmen and terming religion as creation of man is the central theme of the novel and the movie too. Producers Vidu Vinod Chopra and PK director Raju Hiran are yet to respond on the claims.
