Marudhanayagam', a project which began in 1997, is being planned as an Tamil, English and French film. Shooting of this film has been stalled after wrapping up 20% of the shoot as Producer back out from the project.
Recently, Kamal Haasan was asked whether 'Marudhanayagam' would ever hit the screens. He then revealed first 30 minutes of the movie has already been shot and shooting of remaining 2 hours has to be completed.
Kamal wants big production houses like Fox and Viacom to associate with 'Marudhanayagam' for a wide release in Western Countries to recover the huge investment. He makes it clear his ambitious project can't move forward unless it gets a right people who could promote it well.
The next three releases of Kamal Haasan would be 'Uttam Villain', 'Papanasam' (Drushyam remake) and 'Vishwroopam 2'. These films would release in the same order and shooting part has already been wrapped up.
