As per the trade, Zanjeer's All India theatrical rights have been sold out for astronomical price. The undisclosed amount is such a big that no other South Indian star wouldn't even dare to dream about minting such money with a debut flick.
Zanjeer/Thoofan was made with a whooping budget of Rs 70 crore. As the film is a bilingual, Makers were very confident about making profits right from the beginning.
As per the sources, the theatrical rights of Telugu version 'Thoofan' alone has been sold for Rs 50 crore which is the highest price offered for a Telugu flick till date.
