Update: 2020-09-19 10:50 GMT
If sources are to be believed, the makers of 'Solo Brathuke So Better' have sold the rights to the ZEE5 platform for around 33 crores. They will be reportedly releasing the film on OTT platform first and then go on with the theatrical release as the cinema halls may open soon. It looks like the OTT platform is benefitting the most from this deal rather than the filmmakers.

ZEE5 platform is trying to gain more subscribers through his film. It is not one of the popular online streaming sites in Telugu states and not many downloaded the app. Since they don't have a lot of subscribers or members, 'Solo Brathuke So Better' will be watched by a limited number of people. As a plan to recover their investment, Zee network is said to aiming to have an ATT release for this flick where it can be watch on pay-per-view basis. If you want to watch Sai Tej's flick, you need to pay separately for it but how many are willing to separately pay for watching Sai Tej's film is going to be a million-dollar question.

On top of it, the ZEE5 people took the theatrical rights too and it is to been seen how they handle that business considering the current circumstances. Many people are saying that Sai Tej and 'Solo Brathuke So Better' team took a wrong step by selecting an unpopular OTT platform.
